Will Scooter Bike Bandit’s Shorts Give Him Away?

Stickup Caught on Camera

NEW YORK– A scooter bike bandit’s loud shorts could be screaming “arrest me,” cops say. Investigators believe the suspect’s unique attire will lead to his arrest.

With more patches than a Nascar driver’s racing suit, the suspect’s shorts are drawing scrutiny. Police released surveillance video of the suspect and his distinguishing clothing.

The new video appears to match the suspect with the previous video which shows the suspect stealing a delivery scooter.

At around 10:30 am on Sunday a 28-year-old deliveryman was standing in front of the diner at 135 Westchester Avenue when he was attacked.

An unknown male ran up to the deliveryman and displayed a small caliber handgun. The gunman then hopped on the scooter and drove away.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s. He is 5 foot 6 and 145 pounds. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap, white tank top, gray shorts and white sneakers.
