Mugger Stabs Victim Over Headphones Caught on Camera

Teen Stabbed for Headphones 

BRONX- A teen was stabbed for his headphones and the attacker was caught on camera. 

Police are asking for the public’s help to catch the mugger who stabbed a man in Fordham Heights on Tax Day. 

At around 6:15 pm on April 15, a 19-year-old was approached by a man in front of 2271 Morris Avenue. The man displayed a knife and demanded property. 

When the teen refused, the man stabbed him repeatedly in the torso. As the victim fell to the ground, the attacker removed his headphones and fled. 

The teen was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is listed in stable condition. 

Police released surveillance video of the suspect who was caught on camera.

The attacker is described as a Hispanic male in his late teens to early twenties. He was last seen wearing a blue cap, blue jacket and dark pants.
