Daughter of Film Producer Found on Bronx Street Half Dressed
NEW YORK– The mystery surrounding the death of Reality TV star Lyric McHenry deepens. Cops are trying to figure how the mother to be ended up dead, half dressed and left on a Bronx sidewalk with a bag full of drugs.
McHenry, 26, was discovered around 5 am on the corner of Undercliff Avenue and Boscobel Place in Highbridge. She was slumped over on the sidewalk wearing pajama tops, underwear and no bottoms.
A ziplock containing cocaine was found on her according to published reports.
The reality star was said to be 20 weeks pregnant.
Police were mum on a cause of death and whether there was any chance of foul play.
However, McHenry appeared to be in good spirits hours before she died. She had posted videos to Facebook and Instagram of her partying that night.
Currently detectives are waiting for the medical examiner to determine the cause of death.
McHenry worked on the E! reality show “EJNYC.” Her father is Hollywood film producer Doug McHenry who is behind such films as “Krush Groove, “New Jack City.”
Cops are trying to find out how the reality TV star went from posting her party pix on social media to an obscure street in the Bronx.
Investigators are looking into the possibility that she was dumped at the scene.
