Officials say Kareem Allen, 29, of 8th Avenue in Harlem, was declared dead a short time later at Lincoln Hospital.

At the time officials reported that a 31-year-old male and a 33-year-old male were taken into custody, noting that charges were pending.

The source added, “The preliminary investigation determined that the three victims were assaulted in front of 256 East 138 Street following a dispute.” The official added, “The investigation is ongoing.”

Hours later, the NYPD released four photos of one individual, two photos from inside the club and two photos of the same man on the street. Police would like to question the man, who appears to be a young Hispanic male, with short dark hair and beard. He was wearing a red hooded jacket at the time of the incident.

The Oze Tavern last made headlines in March of 2014, when 3 people were stabbed, including a good Samaritan, who was slashed as he attempted to break up a fight on the street outside the club.

Calls to the club were not immediately returned.

The NYPD is asking anyone with information on the identity of the individual, or information on the incident and are urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 577-TIPS, all calls remain confidential.
