Gunman Opens Fire on Bronx Street

NYPD Releases Shooting Video

BRONX- The NYPD released dramatic video of a shooting in the Claremont section. The gunman opened fire on a Bronx street over the weekend. 

The NYPD released the shooting video in an attempt for the public to recognize the gunman and phone in tips. 

The NYPD says the shooting took place at around 10:46 pm on May 26. Standing in front of 254 East 174th, the gunman opened fire on another man running at that location. 

Miraculously no one was injured. 

The gunman opened fire near a busy intersection. A local supermarket is on the corner. In addition to the numerous apartment buildings teeming with tenants, there is a health clinic in the middle of the block. 

Cops describe the gunman as a man with a bald haircut, gray hooded jacket, black shirt and blue jeans.
