Mugger Beat Man Over his Keys in Parkchester 

Caught on Camera: Suspect Pummels Senior 


BRONX– A mugger beat a senior to the ground in Parkchester apparently over his keys. 

Police released surveillance video of the attack that was caught on camera. 


Cops say that at around 8 pm on May 26, a 65-year-old man was walking along Hugh Grant Circle in Parkchester.


The suspect who was loitering around a digital kiosk approached the man. 


He then removed a set of keys that were attached to the man’s bag. 


When the senior attempted to grab the keys back from the suspect, the man punched him in the face. 


The video then shows the mugger wrestling the man to the ground as he continued to punch him. 


The blows knocked the victim unconscious. He was transported to Jacobi Medical Center where he was treated. 


The suspect is described as an African-American male, approximately 30 years-old. He is 5 foot 10 and 200 pounds.
