Mount St. Ursula Opens New School Year with Major Renovations

The Academy of Mount St. Ursula held a thank you event (on site), to thank the generous supporters in donating more than $844,085, to make capital improvements for the building. Improvements were made over the summer:

  • Replaced the roof in the gymnasium. It was completely removed and replaced due to leaking. The project was completed before causing extensive damage to the gym floor.
  • Replaced the windows and blinds throughout the building. This much needed improvement will greatly improve the insulation of the building, create a safer environment, reduce energy loss, provide more light to AMSU and make our building look great as well!
  • New vending machines added.
  • Next, the school will replace the fire alarm systems, front door aluminum, and brick façade/rust.
