Rape Around the Corner from Police Station

Mott Haven Rapist Struck Near NYPD Station

BRONX- A brazen rapist brutally attacked a woman around the corner from an NYPD police station in Mott Haven. 

The NYPD released a photo of a suspect in connection with an attack on a woman. Police have identified 23-year-old Temar M. Bishop in connection with the attack. 

According to the NYPD, the woman was attacked around 5 am inside 215 Alexander Avenue on June 1. 

The NYPD released surveillance video of a rape suspect. The NYPD is searching for Temar M. Bishop.

The 20-year-old was punched in the face numerous times and then raped.  

After the sexual assault, cops say, the rapist punched and kicked the victim in the head until she lost consciousness.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she suffered a fractured nose and lacerations to her face and body.  

Police released surveillance video of the suspect. Bishop is 5 foot 9 and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with the words “Super Dry Sport” in gold lettering, light colored shorts and white sneakers. The individual is known to frequent areas in the Bronx and Brooklyn.
