Marilyn Monroe Fan Robs Dollar Store in Bronx 

Pick Pocket Used Stolen Credit Cards to Buy Speaker- NYPD Says


BRONX– A Marilyn Monroe fan robbed a Family Dollar Store in the Bronx. 


Police released surveillance video of a man, they said, robbed from employees at a Fordham Heights Family Dollar Store. 


At around 2:48 on on March 24, cops say the suspect snuck into the manager’s office at the dollar store at 2301 Jerome Avenue. There he searched several employee coats. 


Inside one of the coats he found a 24-year-old employee’s ID, iPod and several bank credit cards. Cops say the suspect placed these items in his bag and walked out of the store. 


Investigators released surveillance video of the suspect, who was wearing a Marilyn Monroe T-shirt, coming out of a Morris Heights electronics store four hours later.

Detectives say the suspect used one of the stolen credits cards to purchase a blue tooth speaker from that store.
