Man Wanted for Robbing 80-Year Old Inside Bronx Elevator

BRONXCops are looking for a man who robbed an 80-year old inside a Bronx elevator. 

Cops say the thug roughed up and robbed an elderly man inside the elevator inside a Foxhurst apartment building before making off with $300. 


Investigators released surveillance video of the mugging. At around 1 pm on April 19, the man dressed in an orange shirt and a baseball cap, followed the senior into the elevator. 


When the car reached the fourth floor the suspect engaged in conversation with the elderly man. Then he pushed the 80-year-old to the ground and riffled through his pockets. The thief found $300 in cash and fled.


The suspect is described as a Hispanic male who is approximately 30 years-old. Cops say the suspect is approximately 5 foot 9 and weighs around 170lbs.
