Store Clerk Stands Up to Gunman

Jewelry Store Robbery Caught on Camera

NEWS- A brave clerk stood down the barrel of a stick up man’s gun and won. Now the NYPD is searching for the gunman involved in a jewelry store robbery in the Bronx which was caught on camera.

Members of the NYPD released surveillance video of the gunpoint robbery which took place in the HUB. 

At around 11:45 am on May 14, a man walked into the store at 2883 3rd Avenue and displayed a silver revolver demanding money. 

The NYPD says an unarmed,  42-year-old store employee confronted the gunman and chased the would-be robber away. 

The gunman is described as a Hispanic male who is 5 foot 6 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue hat, and black pants.
