Gunman Opens Fire in Broad Daylight in the Bronx

BRONX- Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire on two men, killing one and wounding the other in the Claremont Village section of the Bronx.

Police and paramedics were called to 622 East 168 Street,  at 2 p.m., on April 3. Upon their arrival, police discovered one male victim who had been shot in the torso. 

The victim was rushed to Lincoln Hospital, where he died a short time later.

Police reported a second gunshot victim. A 34-year-old male was a walk-in patient at Lincoln Hospital and he suffered a gun shot wound to the leg.

Early the following morning, police identified the victim as 28 year-old Quamel Andreson of Brooklyn.

Police were looking for a black male wearing a brown jacket, who fled on foot from the shooting, up Boston Road towards East 169 Street.
