Christians Take to the Streets to Reenact Crucifixion

Good Friday Reenacted in Bronx

BRONX- Hundreds of Christian faithful packed the street’s of Norwood on Good Friday, for a reenactment of the Stations of the Cross and the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Members of the Parish of St. Brendan & St. Ann’s gathered at Webster Avenue and East 204 Street and marched to the church on East 207 Street, where the crowd watched as actors played the part of Roman’s nailing Christ to the cross. 

The march through Norwood ended with the reenactment of Jesus’ crucifixion outside the Parish of St. Brendan & St. Ann’s on East  207 Street.–Photo by David Greene
