Dog Park Finally Comes Clean

BRONX- A handful of volunteers from the group “Oval Dog Run,” turned out for a new park clean-up campaign at the dog park inside the Williamsbridge Oval Park.

The dog run was created more than 5 years ago, with the expectation that the community would care for the park, which they say, hasn’t really happened.

The group hopes the campaign gets more pet owners to use the park and pitch in with the clean-up.

Assisted by Friends of Mosholu Park, the “Oval Dog Run,” the group held a clean-up on Saturday, February 23, where members cleaned and removed garbage, with shovels and rakes provided by the Parks Department.
