Cops ID Shooter in Bronx Triple Homicide 




Castle Hill Slaying Shocked Boro

 

NEW YORK– Cops have identified a suspect in the triple homicide in the Bronx on the first day of summer. 

 

Police have identified 51-year-oldof gunning down three people outside a Castle Hill strip mall. One of the victims was an innocent bystander hit by a stray bullet.

 

The horror started at around 9:44 am on June 21 in a strip mall across the street from the Castle Hill Houses. There a man walked up to Mustafa Tarver and  Christopher Alleyne, both 33, and opened fire. Both men were hit in the head. 

However the barrage of bullets also took the life of an unintended target. Police say 45-year-old Arileida Jimenez was an innocent bystander. She was shot in the torso and later died of her injuries.  

 

Investigators are not commenting on a motive for the shooting. 

Cops released grainy surveillance video of a man whose face is obscured by a baseball cap. Another video released shows the suspect wearing a grey sweatshirt and grey camouflage shorts with a baseball cap pulled down over his eyes.
