Release Photos of Suspects, They Say, Stabbed a 15-Year-old in the Neck
NEW YORK– Police have released photos of a group of men, they say, fatally stabbed a 15-year-old in the neck with a machete. One of the suspects is seen on video wielding a large knife.
Lesandro Guzman-Feliz, 15, was stabbed in the neck with a machete after getting into a dispute with a group of young men in front of 526 East 183rd Street.
After being stabbed the teen ran to nearby St. Barnabas Hospital but collapsed on the sidewalk. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
According to published reports, Guzman-Feliz told relatives that he was heading to the bodega a block from his home to repay a friend $5. It is unknown what led to the fatal dispute.
Police pulled the video surveillance footage from inside the bodega which shows the suspects. And the exterior video shows a man dressed in red wielding what looks like a large knife.
