‘Construction Crew’ Pistol Whips, Robs Bronx Man

NEW YORK– A trio of men dressed as construction workers broke into a Bronx man’s apartment, pistol whipped, bound and robbed him.  

 

At around 10:30 am on June 30, three men picked the lock to a 27-year-old’s apartment door. Once inside, they pistol whipped the victim and bound him with zip ties. 

  

The crooks then helped themselves to the victim’s stuff. They stole jewelry, electronics and personal effects said to be valued at around $8,000.  

 

The men then fled in a dark colored sedan. One of the thieves wore a yellow construction helmet. He was also seen wearing dark boots. He is described as an African-American man who is 5 foot 10 and 180 pounds. He is believed to be between 25 and 30 years of age. 

 

The other two suspects wore sports caps. One of which was a Chicago Bulls cap.
