Car Thieves Caught on Camera in Bronx

Caught on Camera, a trio of car thieves made off with the car’s tires on the street during an early morning raid in the Bronx. 

The NYPD released surveillance video of the brazen bandits who jacked up the sedan on a residential street and removed all four tires. 

Cops say the thieves struck around 5 am on May 20. A 2019 Acura TLX was parked between two cars on East 241st Street and Matilda Avenue. 

The quiet residential street in Wakefield was woken by the sound of police investigating the robbery after the owner tried to retrieve his vehicle at 7:30 am that day. Instead of heading to work, the driver saw his car on blocks. 

The surveillance video taken from across the street shows the the trio jacking up the car and quickly removing all four tires. 

The thieves are said to be between the ages of 20 and 30 and were seen driving a silver or gray SUV.
