Cardinal Hayes, Spellman March at St. Paddy’s Parade

Bronx Schools Represented at St. Patrick’s Day Parade 

NEW YORK- Students of Cardinal Hayes High School, an all boys Catholic School on the Grand Concourse, represented the Bronx in the 258th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade along 5th Avenue. 

Held on Saturday, March 16, as more than 100,000 marchers and nearly 100 bands braved a fierce wind and a bitter morning gave way to at least a momentary relief from winter.

Immigration attorney and activist, and parade grand marshal Brian O’Dwyer met with Hayes students before the parade that was led by Mayor Bill de Blasio and other city officials.
