Bronx Man Slashed Outside Bar in Quiet Neighborhood
A Bronx man was slashed across the face with a box cutter in the normally quiet Pelham Bay neighborhood.
The attack happened at around 2:30 am at Jimmy Ryann’s Bar in Pelham Bay. While outside the bar on Middletown Road, a 36-year-old man got into a dispute with another man.
Suddenly the arguement instigator pulled out a box cutter and slashed the victim on the top of the head.
The attacker and a woman fled in a late model grey Nissan pathfinder.
The victim was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center where he was treated and released.
The attacker is described as a Hispanic man between the ages of 25 and 30. He has a medium build is 5 foot 6 and has a beard.
