Bronx Man Shot to Death in Edenwald Dispute

BRONX- Police are looking for the gunman who opened fire and shot a man in the head in the backyard of a home in Edenwald. Cops are looking if the man was gunned down over a woman.

Police were called at 1:32 a.m. on May 11, to the rear yard of a private home at 932 East 224 Street. EMS rushed the victim to Jacobi Hospital, where the man died.

Police identified the victim as Cory Mitchell, 32, of Monticello Avenue. Initial reports stated that the shooting resulted from a dispute with another male over a woman.

Police have no suspects and detectives continue to investigate.
