Baby Boom in Bronx as Boro Welcomes Latest Editions 

BRONX– The Bronx is having a baby boom this week as the newest residents of the Boogie Down were born in the New Year. 

The title of Bronx’ Baby New Year goes to Jeremy Martinez who was born at 12:50 am at the Montefiore Jack D. Weiler Hospital, to proud parents Mirian Lopez and Yery Martinez who live in the West Farms neighborhood.

The next batch of Bronx babies were born at Lincoln Hospital. At 7:18 am, 6 pound, 3 ounce Mohamed Abdullah was born. 

Born to Noor Abdullah the child is currently in the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The first baby born at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in the Bronx was a baby boy, born to Noor Abdullah on January 1, 2019 at 7:18 am.Mohamed Abdullah weighed 6 pounds and 3 ounces and is in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

The second baby (and first girl) born at Lincoln was born to Serenity Dunham on January 1.  Sarah Journey Jenkins was 2 pounds, 4.2 ounces.
