Broke ‘Gunman’ Makes Off With $1

‘Armed Robbery’ Nets $1

BRONX- A broke “gunman” is wanted for sticking up a teenager and making off with $1. The Bronx “armed robbery” was caught on camera.

Cops released surveillance video of a man, they say, stuck up two teenagers claiming he had a gun.

The first incident happened around 1 pm on May 2 on the corner of East 233rd Street and Laconia Avenue. A 13-year-old boy was walking along E. 233rd street when the man approached him and simulated a gun in his waist band.

The teen handed over his wallet which contained $1. The robber then fled on foot.

Cops say the same man struck again an hour later at Holland Avenue & East Gun Hill Road. He approached a 19 -year-old male and allegedly told the victim, “If you say something funny, I will shoot you.” 

Then the robber simulated having a gun in his waste band.

The crook made off with the victim’s Apple Airpods.

The suspect is described as a Black male between 18 to 20 years of age. He is 5 foot 9, 125 pounds with a slim build.

He was last seen wearing a red hooded sweat jacket, gray pants and red sneakers.
