Armed Robber Sticks Up Dunkin’ Donuts in Bronx

BRONX– An armed robber placed a handgun to a Dunkin’ Donuts employee’s neck and demanded cash in the Bronx. Now police are asking for the public’s help to catch him. 

Police released dramatic surveillance video which shows the brazen gunman sticking up the popular Dunkin’ Donuts just outside of Co-op City. 

At around 8 pm on January 8, the crook walked into the Dunkin’ Donuts at 4090 Boston Road, a busy location on a busy thoroughfare. Covered in a hooded sweatshirt the man walked behind the counter and began waving a gun at employees. 

With a gun in her face, a Dunkin’ Donuts employees picks cash off the floor and puts it in the bag for an armed robber.





He placed the handgun to the neck of the drive thru cashier and demanded that she open the till.

The video shows that as the cashier tried to load the cash into a paper bag she dropped it on the floor. The robber continued to place the gun in her face as she is seen picking up the cash. 

Cops say the gunman made off with $700 cash as he fled into a waiting silver Chrysler Pacifica. 

The gunman is described as a Hispanic male who was last seen wearing a black hooded sweater, dark colored sweatpants and dark colored boots. provided for the operator of the minivan.
