4 Men Beat, Rob Woman at Subway Station in Bronx

Took Her Belt, Earphones

BRONX- The growing number of violent muggings took a new turn as four men beat and robbed a woman at a Bronx subway station.

Cops released surveillance video of the four suspects wanted in the attack that took place in the Hub.

At around 8:20 pm on January 27, an 18-year-old woman was inside the 2/5 subway station at 3rd Avenue and East 149th Street. Cops say four men pounced on the woman punching her in the face and head repeatedly. They removed her belt, ski mask and earphones.

The woman suffered swelling and bruising to her face and neck and was treated at the scene. Although robbery appears to be the motive the crooks did not make off with anything of value.

All four men are between the ages of 17 and 20.
