Shooting May Have Been Caught on Tape
BRONX– 1 man is dead and 2 are wounded during a triple shooting in the Bronx last night that may have been caught on tape.
Bullets started to fly during a shooting near a pizza shop on Prospect Avenue and 164th Street last night. Cops say that at around 10 pm a man in his 20s, wearing a ski mask and hoodie, exited a beige car and opened fire.
The hail of bullets struck three people, one fatally. A 26-year-old man suffered gunshot wounds to the chest and back. He was pronounced dead at Lincoln Hospital. Another man who is 17 was shot in the head.
He is listed in critical condition at Lincoln.
The final victim is recovering at St. Barnabas with a gunshot wound to the leg.
Published reports claim that a nearby bodega’s surveillance camera may have captured the shooting. Police would not confirm nor would they release the name of the victim until family notification.
