BREAKING NEWS: One woman has been killed and 23 people have been injured when a Bronx resident who is a Armed Forces veteran, plowed his car into a crowd of pedestrians in Times Square. The mayor and police commissioner said there is currently no signs of terrorism.



Police said they arrested 26-year-old Richard Rojas, who is a resident of the Bronx. Rojas, who is an Armed Forces Veteran is a US citizen and has previous arrests for DWI.



“Based on information at this time there is NO indication that this was an act of terrorism,” deBlasio said.



O’Neill said the car mounted the curb at 42nd Street and Second Avenue and drove to 45th Street where it crashed.
